Activities

  • Assessment of compliance of meals served in educational institutions of a territorial community with the recommendations of current regulations.
  • Studying public opinion on the quality of food services in educational institutions of the territorial community.
  • Development of a school catering modernisation concept and aligning on it with stakeholders. 
  • Development and coordination of project documentation for all educational institutions of the territorial community.
  • Implementation of a pilot project in one school that includes reconstruction of the dining area and installation of computerised equipment on the distribution line.
  • Preparation of the necessary documents for the implementation of similar projects in all other educational institutions of the territorial community, based on co-financing from grants, donors, local budget, investors, and other sources.

Outcomes

  • Increasing attractiveness of school meals by providing students with the opportunity to choose dishes.
  • Improving the quality of meals through an optimised food preparation process and streamlined service on the distribution line.
  • Ensuring calorie balanced meals in school canteens.
