Development of a system for remote detection of explosive objects and mines

Objectives

  • Detection of explosive objects and mines in agricultural areas using unmanned aerial vehicles and neural network technology.
  • Detection of explosive objects and mines at critical infrastructure facilities using unmanned aerial vehicles and neural network technology.

Activities

  • Creation of a pilot sample of an unmanned aerial vehicle with equipment for remote detection of explosive objects and mines (Non-Linear Junction Detector ORION 2.4 HX).
  • Creation of 3-D maps of territories in real time withapplication of explosive objects and mines.
  • Transfer of information to territorial communities, military administrations and executive authorities for further decision-making regarding types of demining.

Outcomes

  • Clearing the area of hostilities from explosive objects and mines.
  • Clearing the area of the agricultural sector and the area of placement of critical infrastructure facilities.

1 year / 0,052 mln. euros.
