About Project
Due to the war in Ukraine, number of wounded defenders, as well as civilians (adults and children), persons with disabilities, who need provision of rehabilitation services, acceleration of referrals to rehabilitation services, obtaining and renewal of individual rehabilitation programs, is increasing.
Despite the existing extensive system of healthcare institutions and the provisions regulated by law in Ukraine on provision of rehabilitation services to people affected by the war and persons with disabilities, we observe significant lack of resources: financial, administrative, institutional, human.
Creation of regional innovative rehabilitation centers with introduction of world standards of medical and social rehabilitation will contribute to restoration of physical and psychological health of people affected by the russian armed aggression.
Objectives
The general goal is to contribute to provision of high-quality medical and social rehabilitation of military personnel and civilian population by creating 6 regional innovative rehabilitation centers for people injured as a result of the russian armed aggression with introduction of world standards of rehabilitation and medical support for patients.
Task:
- Conducting engineering and technical studies and general construction works on state, communal or private properties selected for location of rehabilitation centers, equipping material and technical base.
- Increasing the level of professional competence of specialists of multidisciplinary teams of regional innovative rehabilitation centers for people injured as a result of the russian armed aggression.
- Organization and implementation of an information campaign for target audience of the project.
Activities
- Equipping material and technical base of 6 regional innovative rehabilitation centers for people injured as a result of the russian armed aggression.
- Organization and conduct of training courses and advanced training courses for specialists of multidisciplinary teams in Ukraine and abroad.
- Development of a comprehensive content marketing strategy for promoting services of innovative rehabilitation centers for people affected by the russian armed aggression.
Outcomes
- 6 regional innovative rehabilitation centers for people injured as a result of the russian armed aggression are equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment.
- The level of qualification of specialists of multidisciplinary teams will be been increased.
- The level of awareness of the target audience about provision of rehabilitation services in innovative rehabilitation centers for people injured as a result of the russian armed aggression will be increased.
