First foreign cluster joins Ukrainian Cluster Alliance
The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance is expanding its horizons: FTD LT Cluster (Food Technologies Digitalization LT) from Lithuania has officially joined the community, becoming the first foreign cluster to join the UCA.
FTD LT Cluster brings together companies from the metallurgical and engineering sectors that work for the food industry. The cluster was founded in 2019 and has over 935 employees with a total annual revenue of over €82.7 million. Its activities cover key areas ranging from agricultural production and logistics to engineering, digital solutions, and scientific research.
FTD LT Cluster is actively integrated into international networks and is recognized at the European level. The cluster has been awarded the Cluster Management Excellence BRONZE Label (2023–2024) and is a member of the European Automotive Cluster Network (EACN) and the DIESIS Network, which brings together over 100,000 organizations across Europe.
This event is of strategic importance for the UCA. It is the first step towards the internationalization of the Alliance’s activities, and the new partnership strengthens the opportunities for Ukrainian clusters to enter European markets and projects.
Cooperation with FTD LT Cluster opens up access to joint R&D&I initiatives, innovations in the digitalization of the food industry, and new models of sustainable development.
The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance is consistently building its role as a cluster accelerator, creating conditions for scaling projects, helping participants enter international markets, and strengthening inter-cluster cooperation. The accession of FTD LT Cluster will be an example of productive synergy, with Ukrainian and European clusters jointly forming new value chains, developing innovative solutions, and promoting industries in a global context.
We are committed to productive cooperation!
