The need to integrate Ukrainian organizations and companies into European industrial value chains is one of the consequences of the Russian-led war in Ukraine. This difficult context invites us to rethink our economic relations with Ukraine by identifying various ways of collaborating in terms of support for innovation, integration of refugees through employment and training, humanitarian aid provided to civilian populations. This is the meaning of the cooperation partnership that CIMES and the Association of Industrial Automation of Ukraine (APPAU) signed during summer 2022, as well as the support mechanisms put in place by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region from March 2022.
The ongoing war and the European prospects promised to Ukraine oblige us to accelerate and develop this support at the regional level. As leading industrial region in France, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region has assets and stakeholders capable of supporting Ukraine in its long-term economic development. Ukraine has a rich industrial network, between start-ups and traditional companies. Сombination of these two ecosystems is an exciting prospect in terms of projects and opportunities.
CIMES, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the Association of Industrial Automation of Ukraine invite you to meet on Friday September 30 from 3pm to 4pm for a webinar where we will identify the most urgent needs in Ukraine, in priority those related to the industry, in order to exchange together on the possible ways of cooperation.
