The national brand Furniture of Ukraine at the Salone del Mobile 2022 exhibition in Milan

The national brand Furniture of Ukraine was presented for the first time at the world-famous Salone del Mobile exhibition in Milan, Italy, which took place from June 7 to 12, 2022.

Salone del Mobile organizers provided Ukrainian furniture makers with an equipped exhibition stand free of charge as support for our country in the war against Russian Federation.

The stand under flags of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Makers became a platform for acquaintance and negotiations between 11 Ukrainian factories and the Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo team with visitors to the exhibition.

During the six days of the exhibition, the participants of the national stand had an opportunity to tell those interested about the numerous and diverse furniture made in Ukraine, how furniture makers suffered from the military aggression of Russia, how entrepreneurs unite and continue struggle, about help from the Ukrainian Government, colleagues and international donors.

The Furniture of Ukraine stand was visited by more than 300 business representatives from Italy, India, the USA, Germany, China, Great Britain, Estonia, Canada, Belgium and Ukraine. The vast majority of visitors to the stand were representatives of furniture retail and purchasing departments of hotel and restaurant business. Interior designers and architects were also interested in Ukrainian furniture.

During the official meeting with organizers and founders of the exhibition, the president of FederlegnoArredo, Claudio Feltrin, and the president of Salone del Mobile. Milano Maria Porro possible ways of cooperation between the furniture industries of Italy and Ukraine, current projects of humanitarian support for Ukraine, as well as the conditions for the participation of Ukrainian furniture makers in Salone del Mobile 2023 were discussed.

Participation of Ukrainian furniture makers in the exhibition was actively promoted by the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy, the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Made in Ukraine for Italy Association and the Rivne Regional State Administration.
