Launch of the advocacy campaign Clusters4Defense: webinar 16/04
Webinar on April 16 from 15:00 to 16:45 CET
The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance and its European partners are launching the Clusters4Defense advocacy campaign. The campaign aims to mobilize European clusters in the Dual-Use / MilTech sectors to improve cooperation and interaction between Ukrainian and European innovation clusters in security and defense. The initiative is open to the inclusion of Canadian and UK clusters.
The first online meeting on April 16 sets the following tasks
- To present key programs and projects by 5 technological and ecosystem directions of interaction
- Present the participants of the initiative from Ukraine and the EU countries and match them in thematic groups
- Discuss funding opportunities for projects in consideration and current barriers.

- Establishment of regular exchange between Dual-Use / Miltech clusters (EU–Ukraine Partnership).
- Creation / or joining a single information platform for coordination, communication, and exchange between participants.
- Creation of joint rapid prototyping centers and centers of excellence in the specified segments.
- Launch of Reskilling / Upskilling programs in the following directions:
- Digital skills for employees of defense industry enterprises
- Innovative management and brokerage (for SME expertise and support centers)
- Basic military training of medical teams of military hospitals and civilian doctors.
